Alexis Denisof

Alexis Denisof (born February 25, 1966) is an American actor who is primarily known for playing Wesley Wyndam-Pryce in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spin-off Angel.

Early life

Denisof was born in Salisbury, Maryland, the son of Dr. Christiana Taylor and Gerald Denisof. He has Russian, French, and Irish ancestry. He moved to Seattle, Washington, when he was three years old. He attended Highline College, where his mother was head of the drama department. After graduating from St. Paul's School in Concord, New Hampshire, he moved to London, England, at age 17, where he lived and worked for several years.

Career

Beginning his career in the film industry, Denisof was the fight director for a stage production of Hamlet, and in 1991 was the fight director for the BBC's The Other Side, Romeo and Juliet, and The Soul's Dark Night. Alexis' first lead was alongside Christopher Lee in the feature film Murder Story where he played an investigative reporter. It was released in 1989. One of his first known works in television was on the arcade version of the video for "Got My Mind Set On You" by George Harrison. In 1995 he landed a small part in the 1995 movie First Knight, appearing as one of Arthur's round table knights in multiple scenes with Sean Connery and Richard Gere. Following those roles, Denisof would later work with Sean Bean in three episodes of Sharpe as Lord John Rossendale in 1997.

J. August Richards

Career

Richards's acting career began when he was spotted by a casting director. This resulted in him getting a guest star role on The Cosby Show as Vanessa's boyfriend Roy in the season 5 episode "Out of Brooklyn". Other guest appearances would come later on shows such as The Practice, Chicago Hope, Any Day Now, and Nash Bridges. Playing a rapping bike messenger who believes he is an alien abductee, it was the role of Taj Mahal in the Mark Taper Forum production of Tina Landau's play Space that first brought recognition.

Carpenter has a large scar on her belly from a childhood accident. At the age of five, playing around a swimming pool that was still under construction, she fell onto a piece of rebar. In Lovers Walk, the eighth episode of the third season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, her character suffers an identical injury in similar circumstances.

Angel (1999 TV series)

Angel is an American television series, a spin-off from the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The series was created by Buffy's creator, Joss Whedon, in collaboration with David Greenwalt. It aired on The WB from October 5, 1999, to May 19, 2004, consisting of five seasons and 110 episodes. Like Buffy, it was produced by Whedon's production company, Mutant Enemy.

The show details the ongoing trials of Angel, a vampire whose human soul was restored to him by gypsies as a punishment for the murder of one of their own. After more than a century of murder and the torture of innocents, Angel's restored soul torments him with guilt and remorse. During the first four seasons of the show, he works as a private detective in Los Angeles, California, where he and a variety of associates work to "help the helpless", restoring the faith and saving the souls of those who have lost their way. Typically, this involves doing battle with evil demons or humans allied to them, primarily related to Wolfram & Hart, a law firm supported by occult practices which is an extension of otherworldly demonic forces. He must also battle his own demonic nature.

Aww, baby
What the hell are you waiting for?
I've been patient but I'm anxious
To tell you exactly how I feel and
You could be my boo, for real and
I've been trying to let you chill but
Baby, it's a must I do put a rush on you
'Cause I never know when I'll get the chance again, I
Don't think you understand how for real I am
So, come on, let me show you
Baby, I will be your angel
I'll be the guardian girl for you
Baby, I'm a protect your heart
You don't gotta put up your guard
Just give me a chance, baby, baby
I'll be down for you
Oh, what ya say darling?
I know you're feeling me
'Cause I be looking at you looking at me
Especially when I got on them Baby Phat jeans
But now I really wanna be more than just a homie
I know you're feeling me 'cause your best friend told me
You be talking about me all the time when I'm not around
Boy, don't be scared 'cause
I will be your angel
I'll be the guardian girl for you
Baby, I'm a protect your heart
You don't gotta put up your guard
Just give me a chance, baby, baby
I'll be down for you
Hey (What the hell are you waiting for?)
You don't really know what you do to me
Well, well, well, well
See it's funny 'cause I never felt this way about anyone in my life, oh
Baby, take my hand and come roll with me
I'm a show how real love's supposed to be
Shawty, we gon' make it, we gon' make it (Ooh, ooh)
Baby, I will be your angel
I'll be the guardian girl for you
Baby, I'm a protect your heart
You don't gotta put up your guard
Just give me a chance, baby, baby
I'll be down for you
That I'm gonna be
You know I gotta be
I wanna be what ever you want
I can do what you like, yeah
I'm a protect your heart
You don't gotta put up your guard
Just give me a chance, baby, baby
